How is this different from Wix, Squarespace or Webflow?
Those are tools for making a website, and they make good ones. Siteleon treats the site as one output of something larger: a structured record of what your business does, where, for whom and at what price, wired to what customers actually do next. When a page and your revenue disagree — the service page everyone reads produces the fewest paid jobs — Siteleon tells you, explains why it thinks so, and proposes a change you approve. You are not maintaining a website, you are keeping your presence in step with the business.
Do I have to rebuild my existing website to use Siteleon?
No. Connect the site you already have, import its pages and keep its addresses, and start with the connect and understand half of the loop. Plenty of businesses run that way for a few months, find out which pages produce enquiries and which are dead weight, then rebuild only what is worth rebuilding. If you do rebuild, your old URLs are redirected one-to-one rather than dropped.
What is business knowledge, and why does it matter?
Business knowledge is the structured record of what is true about your company: your services, service areas, opening hours, prices, guarantees, response times, credentials and the questions customers keep asking. Each item is a fact with a source and a date, not a paragraph buried in a page. That is what makes the rest possible — pages are written from facts instead of invented, and when a fact changes, every page, form and advert that depended on it is flagged. Without it you have a website; with it you have something that can adapt.
Will AI change my website without asking?
No. Changes are proposed with the reasoning and a preview, and you approve them. You set the boundary: small housekeeping like a corrected opening time or a broken link can go live on its own, while anything that changes a claim, a price or the argument of a page waits for a person. Every release is recorded, attributed and can be rolled back.
Do I own my website and my content?
Yes. Your content, your business knowledge, your domain and your customer data belong to you. You can export pages, facts, contacts and reporting at any time in open formats. Nothing about the arrangement depends on you being unable to leave.
What happens to my site if I stop paying?
Hosting and the adapt loop stop, but your content is not deleted the moment an invoice lapses. You get a wind-down window with the dates stated in plain language, during which you can export your pages, business knowledge, contacts and reporting, and point your domain wherever you want. Your domain stays yours throughout — it is registered to you, not to us.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, and we would expect you to. Connect a domain you already own, or buy one anywhere you like and point it here; the DNS steps are shown as a short checklist with the exact values to paste. Certificates are issued and renewed by the managed infrastructure, so HTTPS is not something you have to remember. You can also run several domains and country domains against one site, with redirects handled properly.
Does Siteleon replace my CRM?
If you already run Salesforce or HubSpot, no — Siteleon connects to it, sends enquiries in and reads won and lost work back out. If you have no CRM, the customer record inside Siteleon is usually enough: the contact, where they came from, what they read, what you quoted and what happened. It is not trying to become your sales pipeline. It exists so that what happens on the site and what happens after it stop being two separate stories.
Is my site fast?
Pages are served close to your visitors through the edge protection layer, with images, fonts and scripts handled for you rather than left to you. Core Web Vitals are measured on real visits and reported next to the page they belong to, not as a single badge on a settings screen. When something slows a page — an oversized header image, a third-party script someone added — you are told which page it is and what to do. Speed here is a thing you can see and fix, not a claim.
